BEIJING, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) The official commemorative song, Pak-Cheen Dosti - Zindabad, marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, was formally released at the Pakistan-China 75th Anniversary Joint Reception held in Beijing.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chinese Vice President Han Zheng, along with senior dignitaries, government officials, artists, and members of the Pakistan-China friendship community from both countries.

Jointly produced by the Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing and the China International Cultural Communication Center, the commemorative song celebrates the enduring and time-tested friendship between Pakistan and China.

Infused with youthful energy and a contemporary musical style, the production highlights the cultural affinity, mutual goodwill, and strong people-to-people ties that have shaped bilateral relations over the past 75 years.

The lyrics were co-written by Youkai Zou and Hassan Ali Effendi. The composition was jointly created by Natasha Baig, Lay Zhang, Muchen Yan and Muzammil Muzi.

Performed as a duet by Natasha Baig and Lay Zhang, the song draws inspiration from the historic Silk Road and the artistic heritage of Gandhara civilization.

Blending the phonetic richness of Chinese and urdu with ethnic and international musical elements, Pak-Cheen Dosti – Zindabad presents a tribute to a friendship that transcends mountains and rivers and continues to strengthen across generations.

The release forms part of a series of commemorative activities being held to celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, reflecting the continued emphasis both countries place on cultural exchange and people-to-people connectivity.
