One dead, three injured as speeding car crashes into electric pole in Chiniot

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2026) A speeding car lost control and crashed into an electric pole near the Faisalabad Road Bypass in Chiniot district on April 24, killing one person and leaving three others seriously injured.

According to rescue sources, the vehicle overturned after hitting the pole.According to Rescue 1122, teams reached the accident site immediately and began rescue operations.

The deceased was identified as 35-year-old Rana Munir.

Rescue officials said the injured include 24-year-old Muzaffar, 25-year-old Muhammad Sufyan, and 20-year-old Manan.

All three were given first aid on site before being shifted to District Headquarters Hospital for further treatment. The Rescue 1122 team also transferred the body of the deceased to the hospital for necessary legal procedures while the accident site was cleared. Relevant authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
