One killed, 20 injured as coach overturns near Nawabshah

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) A tragic accident occurred on the National Highway where a speeding passenger coach overturned, according to Motorway Police.

The coach reportedly went out of control before overturning.

According to police officials, one passenger was killed while more than 20 others sustained serious injuries in the accident.

Rescue sources stated that the injured are shifted to Taluka Headquarters Hospital Qazi Ahmed, where they are receiving medical treatment.

Sources further revealed that the condition of at least 10 injured passengers is critical, raising fears that the death toll may increase. Motorway Police officials said the affected coach was traveling from Karachi to upcountry when it met with the accident. Rescue teams and police rushed to the scene, and started relief operations.
