One killed, another injured in firing Incident in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2026) One person was killed and another injured in a firing incident near Lala Musa Circle in Gujrat district on Monday,

according to police sources quoted by tv channels.

Initial reports said that unidentified assailants opened fire in the area, killing one person on the spot.

Another individual sustained injuries during the attack.

Upon receiving information about the incident, rescue team and police personnel rushed to the scene and shifted the deceased and the injured person to a nearby hospital.

Police have launched a search operation to trace and arrest the attackers. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
