One killed, another injured in Kohat motorcycle accident

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) One person lost his life while another sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident that occurred in the Mitha Khan area of Kohat on Saturday, rescue officials said.

According to Rescue 1122 sources, emergency teams were dispatched immediately after receiving information about the accident.

Upon reaching the scene, rescuers provided first aid to the injured person and shifted him to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

The deceased victim succumbed to injuries at the scene, and after completion of legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family for burial.

Police have taken notice of the incident and launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances that led to the accident. Authorities said further action would be taken in light of the findings of the inquiry.
