One killed, five injured in wedding ceremony clash

BUREWALA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Apr, 2026) A youth was killed while five others sustained serious injuries

in a clash between two groups in a wedding ceremony here

on Monday.

According to Gaggo Mandi police, the dispute between two

groups escalated into firing, leaving a young man, identified

as Ateeq, dead on the spot and causing injuries to five others

identified as Ali Raza, Abbas and Irfan, etc.

Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the body and injured

to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Burewala.

Two of the injured were stated to be critical who were referred

to a hospital in Sahiwal.

Police have collected evidence from the scene and conducting

raids to arrest the suspects.
