One killed, three Injured in road collision

NOWSHERA VIRKAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jun, 2026) One person was killed and three others injured after a tractor-trolley collided with two motorcycles near Mangoki Virkan area, the Rescue 1122 officials said on Wednesday.

They said a tractor-trolley struck four people riding on two motorcycles and the driver fled the scene immediately after the accident.

The Rescue 1122 team provided first aid to the injured and shifted them to a nearby hospitals .

Two critically injured victims were transferred to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, Gujranwala, while two others were taken to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital, Nowshera Virkan.

The body was identified as 24-year-old army employee Hamid, a resident of Mangoki Virkan, who sustained a severe head injury and later succumbed to his wounds.

The injured included Raheel 18 years, suffered a deep forehead wound. The other injured were identified as 12-year-old Abdul Basit and 35-year-old Abdul Rehman sustained leg fractures and were shifted to DHQ Hospital Gujranwala .

Eyewitnesses said the unidentified tractor-trolley driver fled the scene after the collision. Police have launched efforts to trace the vehicle and investigate the incident.
