Operation launched against anti-social elements

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) The police launched a grand operation against anti-social elements and arrested nine suspects in various actions.

Police said on Sunday that the teams of Cantt Station and Musafirkhana conducted raids and arrested five drug peddlers, besides recovering 165 liters of liquor from their possession.

Meanwhile, police from Baghdad-ul-Jadeed, Saddar Bahawalpur, Sama Satta, and City Hasilpur stations took action against illegal weapons, arresting four suspects and recovering four 30-bore pistols from them.

Separate cases were registered against the arrested suspects, and investigations were initiated.
