Over 1.049 million citizens have availed various digital services from Police Khidmat Marakaz across the province during the current year, reflecting growing public trust in the initiative

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Mar, 2026) Over 1.049 million citizens have availed various digital services from Police Khidmat Marakaz across the province during the current year, reflecting growing public trust in the initiative.

According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, over 375,000 citizens obtained general police verification, while more than 220,000 were issued character certificates. Similarly, over 267,000 citizens completed tenancy registration.

The spokesperson said that 32,940 citizens were issued medico-legal certificates, while more than 39,000 individuals from vulnerable segments were provided legal and social protection services.

He added that 9,511 citizens availed vehicle verification services, over 24,000 reported loss of documents, and 763 crime reports were registered.

A total of 44,741 citizens obtained copies of FIRs, while 17 cases of violence against women were reported.

Similarly, around 45,000 citizens completed employee registration under ROPE, while 522 individuals obtained police verification for private employment.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem said that Police Khidmat Marakaz are a flagship public service delivery project, providing round-the-clock facilities to citizens.

He directed officers to adopt a polite and courteous attitude towards citizens at Khidmat Marakaz, police stations and other public places.
