Over 10.5 Million Citizens Benefit from e-Khidmat Maraakaz Services in Punjab

In a major step toward citizen facilitation and efficient public service delivery, more than 10.5 million citizens have benefited from services offered at 15 e-Khidmat Maraakaz established across Punjab

LAHORE (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) In a major step toward citizen facilitation and efficient public service delivery, more than 10.5 million citizens have benefited from services offered at 15 e-Khidmat Maraakaz established across Punjab. These centers provide over 170 government services under one roof, eliminating long queues and delays.

In a progress review meeting, presided over by PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf at Arfa Software Technology Park (ASTP), it was highlighted that e-Khidmat Maraakaz are offering a wide range of services spanning district, provincial, and federal levels.

Participants of the meeting were further apprised that over 1.816 million citizens have availed Postal services, more than 1.328 million have obtained Domicile Certificates, and over 1.22 million have acquired Driving Licenses through these centers. Additionally, 1.177 million citizens utilized NADRA e-Sahulat Services, while over one million accessed National Identity Card-related facilities.

These centers provide a comprehensive suite of services including issuance of Character, Birth, Death, Marriage and Divorce certificates, Domicile Certificates, Learner and Regular Driving Licenses, Vehicle Registration, Token Tax Payment, CNIC Issuance, NADRA e-Sahulat, Postal Services, Vehicle Ownership Transfer, Land Record (Fard), Route Permits, e-Stamp Papers, and Arms Licenses.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated that the increasing number of citizens availing services reflects strong public trust in the initiative. He further noted that e-Khidmat Maraakaz have achieved a significant milestone by securing the ISO 9001:2015 certification, underscoring their commitment to quality and efficient service delivery.

He added that continuous efforts are underway to expand the scope of these centers and further enhance their operational efficiency to better serve the public.
