Over 2,400 volunteers deployed to serve Hajj pilgrims across holy sites

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) Haji and Mu'tamer's Gift Charity Association (Hadiyah) has deployed more than 2,400 volunteers during the Hajj 1447 AH season to provide field, guidance and hospitality services for pilgrims across different locations in the holy sites.

According to SPA, the volunteers are participating in enrichment and awareness programs aimed at improving pilgrims’ experience and assisting them throughout the Hajj journey.

Chief Executive Officer Turki Al-Hutayrashi said volunteer work represents a key pillar of the association’s Hajj operations, with teams working around the clock to provide hospitality, guidance, water distribution and awareness services for pilgrims.

The report said volunteers have been deployed at multiple service points to support pilgrims and contribute to smoother field operations during the Hajj season.

Al-Hutayrashi added that the integration and coordination among government, private and nonprofit sectors during Hajj reflects Saudi Arabia’s strong commitment to serving pilgrims and ensuring their comfort and safety.

He said the association takes pride in being part of the national service system supporting pilgrims during Hajj.
