Over 200 differently abled persons receive assistive devices

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jul, 2026) The Deputy Commissioner Zain Ul Abedin Memon, in coordination with department for empowerment of persons with disabilities (DEPD) and Al-Asar Foundation arranged an event for distribution of wheelchairs, three-wheeler motorcycles, crutches, hearing aids and motorized wheelchairs for more than 200 differently abled persons.

According to a handout, the deputy commissioner also visited the Rehabilitation and Therapy Center of Al-Asar Foundation and discussed issues faced by the administration.

Deputy Commissioner, on the occasion, assured full support to the foundation by pledging to contribute maximum financial assistance through donors and philanthropists so that the foundation can feasibly manage its expenses including rent, staff salaries, etc.
