Paharpur AC seals LPG shop over overcharging, issues notices to others

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Paharpur, Dr. Hamid, conducted an inspection of LPG outlets at Awan Adda on Tuesday to ensure compliance with officially notified prices.

During the visit, one shop was sealed on the spot for selling LPG at a rate exceeding Rs 450 per kilogram, in violation of government-fixed prices.

Several other shopkeepers were issued notices over minor irregularities.

The assistant commissioner also reviewed the prices of other essential commodities and directed traders to strictly adhere to official rates, ensuring availability of items at government-approved prices.

He warned that overcharging would not be tolerated under any circumstances and that strict legal action would be taken against violators.
