MAKKAH MUKARRAMAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) Demonstrating an exemplary sense of duty, the Khuddam-ul-Hajj and 'Haram Guides' team of the Pakistan Hajj Mission in Mina have traced and returned two lost bags to their respective owners. The recovered bags contained cash worth over 750,000 Pakistani Rupees, expensive mobile phones, and essential travel documents, which were handed over after a two-day search.
In the first incident, on May 29, 2026, Saddam-ul-Abideen, the Assistant Coordinator deployed at Maktab 4 (Rawaf Mina), found an abandoned brown bag while on duty. The bag was inspected in the presence of Camp Incharge Ala Samee, Qari Abdullah, and Sajjad. It contained SAR 10,160 (approximately PKR 711,000), PKR 42,350, an Apple iPhone, a Nusuk card, and the pilgrim's identification card.
Through the recovered documents, the pilgrim was identified as Abdullah Mahar, residing in Room 401 of Building No.

Following a rigorous two-day search, the Pakistan Hajj Mission staff successfully contacted the pilgrim. The team visited his building and handed over the entire cash amount, the phone, and the cards after proper verification.
In the second incident, the 'Haram Guides' team recovered another lost bag in Mina belonging to a pilgrim, which contained a valuable mobile phone and vital travel cards. The bag had gone missing when the pilgrim mistakenly left it behind while performing ablution, causing him severe anxiety for two hours.
The Haram Guides team acted swiftly to locate the pilgrim and safely returned his phone and cards. Upon receiving his belongings, the pilgrim highly praised the sincere service and dedication of the Haram Guides team.
