HAVELIAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) A Pakistan Army soldier, Mudassar Ali Khan, who was martyred while fighting terrorists in Wana, was laid to rest with full military honours in his native area of Banda Sahib Khan in Havelian tehsil.
Funeral prayers for the martyr were offered in his hometown, where a large number of people, including senior military officials and local elders, attended to pay their respects. A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a guard of honour to the fallen soldier.
Mudassar Ali is survived by his parents, wife, one son, and two daughters.
Residents of the area paid rich tribute to the martyr, stating that his supreme sacrifice for the defense of the homeland will always be remembered. They expressed pride in his courage and bravery and offered prayers for the acceptance of his martyrdom, elevation of his ranks, and patience for his bereaved family.
They added that such sacrifices strengthen the nation’s resolve, reiterating the belief that martyrs live on forever in the hearts of the people.
