BEIJING, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2026) Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, has said that the Pakistan–China Silk Road Mango Festival 2026 showcased the excellence of Pakistan’s agricultural sector while opening new opportunities for bilateral fruit and mango trade cooperation between the two countries.
In a post on X, the ambassador expressed satisfaction over the signing of two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during the festival, describing them as an important step toward deepening agricultural and economic cooperation.
The agreements were signed between China Ole High End Super Market and Tianjin Midtrans International Co., and between Hainan Jiao Long Technology Co. and RIC Nexus. The MoUs focus on expanding cooperation in mango trade and logistics.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Ambassador Hashmi said the agreements represent a win-win outcome for Pakistani mango growers and exporters as well as Chinese trading companies by facilitating greater market access and improving logistics for Pakistan’s premium mango exports.
He noted that the initiatives would help expand agricultural exchanges, promote bilateral agricultural trade, and further strengthen the growing economic partnership between Pakistan and China.
The Pakistan–China Silk Road Mango Festival serves as a platform to promote Pakistan’s world-renowned mangoes in the Chinese market, foster business-to-business collaboration, and enhance trade ties between the two countries.
