Pakistan day celebrated with patriotic zeal at Peshawar orphanages

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) Separate, dignified ceremonies were held at the SOS Children’s Village and the Bait-ul-Yatama Orphanage in Peshawar on Wednesday to mark Pakistan Day, instilling a spirit of patriotism among the children.

The events were attended by children, teachers, and a large number of distinguished guests. A contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a salute to the national flag, adding a touch of solemnity to the occasion.

The children, filled with patriotic zeal, presented vibrant performances of national songs, eloquently expressing their profound love for the homeland. Flag-hoisting ceremonies were held at both venues, followed by the collective singing of the national anthem, in which all participants took part with great enthusiasm and fervor.

The joy and patriotic commitment of the children were particularly evident during their warm interaction with the soldiers of the Pakistan Army present on the occasion.

Speakers at the events emphasized that such national commemorations play a vital role in instilling discipline, fostering

national unity, and nurturing a deep sense of love for the country in the hearts of the younger generation.
