FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen said that Pakistan has emerged as a neutral and reliable mediator in the Iran-US negotiations.

She was addressing a session titled “Pakistan’s Diplomacy and Positive Role in Iran-US Negotiations” at the Divisional Public school and College, Main Campus. Professor Naveed Suleman and Professor Abdul Qadir Mushtaq were among the other speakers who also spoke on the occasion. Director Schools Cell Asif Iqbal Chohan, Principal of the institution, teachers and students also participated.

The Commissioner said that the message of Pakistan being a peaceful country has been highlighted all over the world.

She said that Pakistan hosted high-level delegations from the US and Iran, facilitated the negotiations and played an important role in the temporary ceasefire. She said that this move is a manifestation of a balanced foreign policy and effective diplomatic credibility.

The students also expressed their views and said that the efforts of the Pakistani leadership for the negotiations between the US and Iran held in Islamabad were appreciated at the global level.

The Commissioner also inaugurated the conference room during the visit and appreciated the quality of construction.
