LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2026) Arrangements have been finalized for the return of 119,000 Pakistani pilgrims who performed Hajj under the government scheme, official sources said.
According to sources, the post-Hajj flight operation will commence on June 1, with 22 flights scheduled to bring pilgrims back to Pakistan. A further 23 flights are expected to arrive on June 2, carrying returning pilgrims from Saudi Arabia.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>The month-long repatriation operation will continue until June 30, when the final flight is scheduled to land in Lahore.
Pilgrims will be transported from the holy cities of Madina and Jeddah through a total of 471 flights operated under the government Hajj scheme.
The operation will be jointly carried out by Pakistani government airlines, private carriers, and Saudi airlines to ensure the smooth and timely return of pilgrims to their hometowns across the country.
