LAS VEGAS: Pakistan’s Arslan “Arslan Ash” Siddique delivered another landmark performance on the global esports stage, winning the Tekken 8 title at Evo 2026 in Las Vegas and securing the eighth Evo championship of his career.
Arslan defeated South Korea’s Rangchu in a tense grand final that showcased high-level strategy, patience and precision. The tournament featured 1,355 competitors from around the world, making his victory one of the most significant of the season.

With the win, Arslan earned $28,000 (about Rs. 7.8 million), along with 800 Tekken World Tour points and qualification for the TWT Finals 2026. Representing Twisted Minds, he competed using Nina and Kunimitsu.
The final was defined by Arslan’s disciplined defensive play. He repeatedly read Rangchu’s offensive patterns, controlled spacing, and capitalized on key mistakes to close out the set.
South Korea’s Rangchu finished second, while his countrymen also occupied top positions. LowHigh placed third, JeonDDing finished fourth, and Meo-IL came in fifth, reflecting South Korea’s continued strength in competitive Tekken.
Pakistan also celebrated another strong showing as Qasim Meer finished sixth overall. He earned $4,200 (about Rs. 1.1 million) and 220 points, securing qualification for the Esports World Cup 2026. Meer competed under The Vicious, using Zafina and Azucena.
Arslan’s latest triumph further cements his reputation as one of the most dominant figures in Tekken history, continuing a remarkable run of consistency at the highest level of competitive gaming
