PAL hosts 79th informal session of ‘Chai, Baatain aur Kitaabain’

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) The Pakistan academy of Letters (PAL) hosted the 79th informal session of its weekly literary series Chai, Baatain aur Kitaabain on Wednesday.

The session featured a discussion on the novel Saat Janam authored by Shafqat Naghmi, drawing participation from writers, poets, literature enthusiasts, and individuals belonging to various fields of knowledge and the arts.

The informal gathering provided a platform for engaging discussions over a cup of tea, focusing on literary, intellectual, and social themes, as well as books. The spirit of dialogue and debate remained anchored in courtesy and respect for differing viewpoints.
