Palestinian president to visit Pakistan soon; says Supreme Sharia Judge

The Supreme Sharia Judge of Palestine, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash, revealed that the President of Palestine would visit Pakistan in the coming week, expressing a desire to see the Pakistani people offering prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) The Supreme Sharia Judge of Palestine, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash, revealed that the President of Palestine would visit Pakistan in the coming week, expressing a desire to see the Pakistani people offering prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Dr. Mahmoud shared this during a meeting with Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, on Tuesday, along with Grand Mufti Sheikh Muhammad Ahmed Hussain.

The federal minister welcomed the Palestinian delegation and stated that Pakistan was the only country that does not recognize Israel.

He added that Pakistan’s passport clearly stated that it was not valid for travel to Israel.

“Our Prime Minister, Field Marshal and Foreign Minister have made every possible effort to stop the ongoing barbarity in Gaza,” Sardar Muhammad Yousuf told the delegation, adding, “We wish for Jerusalem to belong to Palestine. Let us pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque alongside our brothers.”

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash said that they received immense love during their visit to Pakistan in September, and their return now reflected the strength of their mutual relations.
