Partly cloudy weather forecast for Lahore

Partly cloudy weather with improved air quality was recorded in the city on Monday, while the Meteorological Department forecast similar conditions over the next 24 hours

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2026) Partly cloudy weather with improved air quality was recorded in the city on Monday, while the Meteorological Department forecast similar conditions over the next 24 hours.

According to MET officials, a shallow westerly wave was affecting the south-western and central regions of the country and is expected to persist for the next 18 to 24 hours.

Under its influence, partly cloudy weather with rain, wind, and thunderstorms is likely at isolated places in Balochistan, lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and southern Punjab. Hailstorms may also occur at a few locations during this period.

Elsewhere in the country, cold and dry weather conditions are expected to prevail.

The lowest temperature on Monday was recorded in Leh, where the mercury dropped to -07°C, while Lahore’s minimum temperature was recorded at 14°C.
