Peace committee discusses security measures

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jun, 2026) In connection with Muharram-ul-Harram arrangements, an important meeting of the peace committee was held here on Thursday.

SSP Operations Imran Ahmad Malik chaired the meeting held at police lines complex, while SP Iqbal Division, members of peace committee and representatives of the business associations participated.

They discussed foolproof security arrangements during the Muharram-ul-Haram in detail.

SSP Operation Imran Malik appreciated the key role of ulema for establishing law and order and urged for taking stern measures during Majalis and procession routes in addition to sensitive areas.

The trader community also appealed for extending coordination with police and district administration.
