Peace Forum delegation calls on DC Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) A delegation of the Peace Forum met Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Sarmad Saleem Akram here Tuesday, to discuss key civic issues and explore practical solutions for improving conditions in the city.

During the meeting, the delegation identified various public concerns and highlighted important matters affecting residents.

The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the delegation’s efforts and thanked them for their engagement, assuring that effective measures would be taken to ensure the rule of law, maintain peace and improve public service delivery.

He said that the district administration would utilize all available resources to address citizens’ issues and work in close coordination with relevant departments to ensure sustainable improvements.

The meeting was attended by Peace Forum office bearers, religious scholars, the President of the All Trade Association, local elders and members of the community, who reaffirmed their commitment to make collective efforts for the betterment of the city.
