Peaceful Eid-ul-Adha celebrations marked across Talagang

TALAGANG, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) Thousands of citizens across Talagang celebrated Eid-ul-Adha with religious fervour and devotion as Eid congregations were held peacefully at mosques and Eidgahs throughout the district.

Large numbers of worshippers offered Eid prayers and performed the Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi, reflecting the spirit of sacrifice and obedience. Following the congregations, people visited graveyards to offer Fateha and pray for the eternal peace of their departed relatives and loved ones.

Meanwhile, the district administration, under the supervision of Suleman Mansha, launched an extensive cleanliness campaign during the Eid holidays. Sanitation staff remained active in various areas to ensure prompt collection and disposal of animal waste, while water sprinkling operations were carried out to prevent foul smell and minimize environmental hazards caused by decomposing remains.

On the security front, district police made comprehensive arrangements to maintain law and order during the festive days. Police personnel were deployed at mosques, markets, parks and other public places to ensure public safety and avert any untoward incident. Citizens appreciated the joint efforts of the district administration and police for ensuring peaceful celebrations, cleanliness and security across the city during Eid-ul-Adha.
