People of GB will lay foundation for development by electing PML-N candidates, Sheikh Aftab

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Jun, 2026) Pakistan Muslim League-N leader and Member National Assembly Sheikh Aftab Ahmed has said that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan will today lay the foundation for the province’s development by electing PML-N candidates with a heavy majority.

Talking to media representatives, he said the PML-N leadership had always given major development projects to the country, and work on major projects would also be initiated in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Aftab said the warm welcome accorded to PML-N Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in Gilgit-Baltistan and the massive public participation in his rallies clearly proved that the people wanted to elect PML-N candidates for their progress and prosperity.

He said that all major development projects completed in Pakistan carried the credit of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

He added that PML-N leaders would play their full role for the development of Gilgit-Baltistan.

He said the entire nation knew that whenever PML-N came into power, the country moved towards progress. The PML-N leadership had always practiced politics aimed at solving the problems of the country and the nation, and saved Pakistan from default by sacrificing its politics for the country.

Sheikh Aftab Ahmed appealed to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan to vote for PML-N candidates with a heavy majority for their development, prosperity and resolution of their issues so that the problems of the province could be addressed on a priority basis.
