PESCO restores over 100 of 200 tripped feeders in Peshawar

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jul, 2026) PESCO announced Monday that heavy rains tripped over 200 electricity feeders in Peshawar, with power already restored to more than 100 as weather conditions improved.

According to a PESCO spokesperson, repair and restoration work began immediately after the rain subsided.

More than 100 feeders have since been re-energised, while 98 feeders remain out of service due to weather-related faults.

The spokesperson said PESCO teams are working round the clock to rectify faults and restore electricity to the remaining affected feeders at the earliest.

Consumers have been requested to report power outages in their areas by calling the PESCO helpline at 118.

The spokesperson also apologised for the temporary inconvenience caused by the weather-related power disruptions.
