Petrol prices surge over 30% in UAE after new revision

Petrol prices have risen by more than 30 percent while diesel has recorded an increase of nearly 70 percent

ABU DHABI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-March 31st, 2026) The United Arab Emirates has revised fuel prices, resulting in a significant increase in petrol and diesel rates for the new billing cycle.

Under the updated pricing, the petrol prices have risen by more than 30 percent while diesel has recorded an increase of nearly 70 percent.

The latest adjustment reflected a broader upward revision in fuel prices across the country.

The revised rates showed that Super petrol has increased from 2.59 Dirhams per litre to 3.39 dirhams per litre. Special 95 petrol has gone up from 2.48 dirhams to 3.28 dirhams per litre, while E-Plus 91 petrol is now priced at 3.20 dirhams per litre, up from 2.40 dirhams.

The diesel has seen the steepest hike, with its price rising from 2.72 dirhams per litre to 4.69 dirhams per litre.
