PHA chief inspects parks, orders better facilities

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) Managing Director of Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Waseem Hassan conducted visits to several public parks to review arrangements for lighting, cleanliness and landscaping.

During the inspection, he visited Gol Bagh Park, Arts Council Park, Zakariya Park and Ladies Park Gulgasht, where he examined the functioning of lights and other facilities available for visitors.

He also inspected lighting arrangements at Katchery Flyover and directed the concerned officials to install additional lights to enhance visibility and facilitate the public.

Speaking on the occasion, the MD directed staff to ensure proper maintenance and protection of installed lights and keep them fully operational. He further instructed authorities to improve cleanliness and landscaping work in the parks.

He warned that negligence in sanitation and security would not be tolerated and emphasized that public parks must be maintained in a better condition for citizens.
