PHA finalizes special arrangements in parks for Eid

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2026) The Punjab Horticulture Authority (PHA) has finalized special arrangements across major parks in the provincial capital to ensure a safe and pleasant recreational environment for citizens on Eid.

PHA Managing Director Raja Mansoor Ahmed said that comprehensive security and management measures have been put in place in all A-category parks. He added that CCTV cameras installed in the parks will remain fully operational to ensure effective monitoring and maintain law and order. He added that PHA officers and staff will remain on duty throughout the Eid holidays and will work in close coordination with the district administration and police to facilitate visitors.

The MD PHA said officials will also ensure strict enforcement of approved rates at canteens, maintain cleanliness, and provide improved facilities for families visiting the parks. He added that special monitoring arrangements have been made at Greater Iqbal Park, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, Bagh-e-Jinnah, Jilani Park and Jallo Botanical Garden to ensure that citizens can celebrate Eid in a comfortable and secure environment.
