PHMA meets Uzbek envoys to boost textile trade

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) A Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers Association (PHMA) delegation held a meeting with Alisher Tukhtaev, First Secretary Ravshan Jumanov, and Commercial Counsellor Tulkin Abdullaev at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Islamabad.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, with particular stress on the value-added textile sector.

Both sides engaged in constructive discussions aimed at enhancing trade ties, promoting exports, and exploring new avenues of collaboration within the textile industry.

The interaction proved highly beneficial in fostering mutual understanding and reinforcing economic relations, especially in the area of value-added textiles.
