DIG South Asad Raza says court had earlier rejected the police request for physical remand
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-May 13rd, 2026) A judicial magistrate (South) granted a three-day physical remand of drug suspect Anmol alias “Pinky,” police officials said on Wednesday.
DIG South Asad Raza said that the court had earlier rejected the police request for physical remand. The accused was subsequently produced again before the judicial magistrate after the initial decision.
During the fresh hearing, investigators once again requested physical remand for further interrogation, which was accepted by the court. The magistrate approved a three-day physical remand and handed the accused over to police custody.

The police sources said that investigators have also gathered details of previous cases registered against Anmol alias Pinky as part of the ongoing probe.
Earlier, Garden police had arrested the suspect during an operation in Karachi. Authorities claimed that cocaine and other narcotics worth millions of rupees were recovered from her possession during the raid.
