PM condoles death of brother of senior journalist Iftikhar Ahmad

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jun, 2026) Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of Agha Iqbal Ahmad Khan, brother of senior journalist Iftikhar Ahmad.

The prime minister extending his condolences to Iftikhar Ahmad and his family, prayed for the elevation of the departed soul's ranks in Jannah.

“May Allah Almighty grant the deceased a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous. Ameen,” the prime minister said in a statement issued by the PM Office.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed deep grief over the death of mother of Federal Secretary, Ali Murtaza.

Extending his condolences to the bereaved family members, the prime minister prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the departed soul in Jannah.
