PM grieved over passing of JI Secretary General Ameer-ul-Azeem

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2026) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday expressed deep grief over the passing of Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer-ul-Azeem.

Paying tribute to the deceased, he described the late Ameer-ul-Azeem as a visionary politician and said that his contributions to the field of politics would always be remembered.

Offering his condolences, he expressed sympathies with the bereaved family in this hour of grief.

The prime minister prayed for peace for the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family to bear the loss.
