PM lauds security forces for foiling terrorist attack

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2026) Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday paid a glowing tribute to the security forces for foiling a cowardly attack by the terrorists of the Indian-backed 'Fitna al-Khawarij' on a check post in South Waziristan and killing four terrorists.

The prime minister praised the professionalism, exceptional bravery, and timely response of the security forces during the successful operation.

"Our brave soldiers have once again thwarted the enemy's nefarious designs, proving that no harm will be allowed to come to Pakistan's security," the prime minister said.

He stated that the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with its brave armed forces and law enforcement agencies to defeat the enemies of peace.

Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the national resolve, stating that the government and the security forces would continue their operations under Operation 'Azm-e-Istehkam' with full force until the complete eradication of the scourge of terrorism from the country.
