PM Shehbaz Sharif returns to Pakistan after 4-day China visit

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday returned to Pakistan after completing a four-day official visit to China.

During his stay in China, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held significant meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang.

He also participated in high-level commemorative events marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.

During the visit, both sides also signed accords of cooperation in multiple areas, including economy, environment and climate change, agriculture and food security, trade, media, science and technology, counterterrorism, and education, to further strengthen bilateral ties.
