ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit China from May 23 to May 25, according to official sources.
During the visit, the prime minister will hold meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang.
He is also expected to participate in events marking 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
Officials said that multiple agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) between the two countries are likely to be signed during the visit.
Key areas of discussion will include the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), trade, investment, and broader bilateral cooperation aimed at strengthening strategic and economic ties.
