PMYP chief commends 75 years of Pak-China iron brotherhood

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan on Thursday congratulated the leadership and people of Pakistan and China on the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation, youth engagement and the “One China” policy amid evolving regional and global challenges.

In his message issued on the occasion, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan described Pakistan-China ties as an enduring friendship built on mutual trust, respect and shared development, calling the relationship “a shining example for the world”.

He said China had always stood by Pakistan as a sincere friend and played a vital role in the country’s economic, social and strategic development.

Praising Chinese President Xi Jinping, the PMYP chairman said China, under his visionary leadership, had set new benchmarks in development, innovation and prosperity.

Referring to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, he said the project remained a guarantee for Pakistan’s progress in energy, infrastructure and a brighter future for the youth.

Rana Mashhood said the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme was committed to working closely with China to further empower young people and enhance opportunities for education, innovation and development.

He expressed confidence that Pakistani youth would play a key role in taking Pak-China friendship to new heights in the years ahead.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support for the “One China” policy, he said cooperation between Pakistan and China remained crucial for regional peace, stability and shared prosperity in the changing global environment.

“May the friendship between Pakistan and China continue to grow stronger for future generations,” he added, ending his message with the slogan: “Long live Pak-China friendship.”
