Police arrest 21 suspects in Bannu

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) Bannu Police on Saturday conducted a successful search and combing operation in Domel and adjoining remote areas, arresting 21 suspects and recovering weapons.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of District Police Officer (DPO) Yasir Afridi as part of an ongoing campaign against criminal elements.

Police teams from Domel, Township and Basiakhel, along with lady constables, Elite Force and Quick Response Force (QRF), took part in the operation.

During the crackdown, raids were conducted on the hideouts of proclaimed offenders, drug peddlers and their facilitators. Police said legal action has been initiated against the arrested suspects.

Bannu Police reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining law and order and protecting the lives and property of citizens, adding that operations against criminal elements would continue without discrimination.
