Police in its continued drive against narcotics and criminals on Tuesday arrested three suspects and recovered liquor and mainpuri from their possession

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) Police in its continued drive against narcotics and criminals on Tuesday arrested three suspects and recovered liquor and mainpuri from their possession.

According to a police spokesman, SHO Phuleli police station Muhammad Ayoob Otho along with his staff conducted a raid in his territorial jurisdiction and nabbed an accused Amin Qureshi and recovered 10 bottles of liquor from his possession and also arrested another suspect Ali Arain possessing 10 liqour bottles while a mainpuri dealer Sultan Umrani was also arrested having 230 mainpuri packets.

In another drive, Incharge Naseem Nagar check post Abdul Malik Abro along with his staff conducted a raid and arrested an accused Hasnain s/o Bux Ali and recovered 10 liter liquor bottles from his possession.

Police have registered cases against both suspects under relevant act.
