Police arrest 4 suspects Including 2 POs in crackdown

BHAKKAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2026) ,The district police carried out a major crackdown against criminal elements and Proclaimed Offenders (POs), resulting in the arrest of four suspects.

The police spokesman said under the supervision of SDPO Sadr, Bhakkar, Mansoor Ahmad Khan, SHO, Sarai Muhajir Police Station, Agha Rehman Qamar, along with his police team, conducted successful operations against proclaimed offenders, individuals displaying weapons unlawfully, and other criminal elements.

During the operation, Sarai Muhajir Police, using human intelligence and modern technology, arrested two proclaimed offenders identified Abdul Rasheed and Ghulam Hassan.

The police also apprehended a suspect identified as Aurangzeb for the illegal display of weapons and recovered a 12-bore repeater pump-action shotgun from his possession.

In a separate action, the police recovered the pistol allegedly used in an attempted murder case.

The police registered cases against the accused and launched further investigations.
