Police arrested two proclaimed offenders

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Apr, 2026) The Waris Khan Police have arrested a proclaimed offender wanted in an attempted murder case since May 2024.

The accused had injured five citizens along with accomplices during a financial dispute using firearms and sharp weapons.

In another raid, police also apprehended a proclaimed offender involved in a cheque dishonour case, who had been absconding since 2025.

SP Rawal Saad Arshad said the suspects would be prosecuted with strong evidence, noting that his accomplices had already been arrested.

Police officials added that further legal actions were underway, reaffirming that operations against proclaimed offenders would continue.
