Police arrests dacoit in injured condition

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2026) One alleged dacoit was injured and arrested, while his two accomplices managed to escape from the scene when a police encounter took place in Shaheed Benazirabad district during routine patrolling by the SHO of Airport Police Station and his team.

The incident occurred near Nago Shah, where police came face-to-face with armed suspects. Police recovered a pistol and ammunition from the arrested suspect.

The injured suspect was identified as Sameer, son of Abdul Majeed Sheikh, a resident of Ghulam Haider Shah Colony, Nawabshah.

According to police, the accused was found involved in multiple incidents of theft and robbery in various areas of Nawabshah.

Authorities saild that the further criminal record of the accused is being verified from other districts as well. Senior Superintendent of Police Shaheed Benazirabad, Sameer Noor Channa, appreciated the performance of police team for successful action.
