Police arrests six member kidney-smuggling gang

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2026) Manga Mandi Police conducted a major operation and arrested a six member gang involved in illegal

buying and selling of human organs and transplantation.

According to the police, the operation was carried out near Wazir Palace on Multan Road, where the accused

were arrested after a raid on a tip-off.

According to SP Saddar, the accused include Qasim, Fayyaz, Maqsood, Riaz, Iqbal and Mureed Hassan, who were involved in illegal buying and selling of kidneys and unauthorized transplantation.

The police also recovered lakhs of rupees from the possession of the accused, while a case has been registered against them and further investigation has been started.
