WAH CANTT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2026) Police have arrested two suspects allegedly involved in a motorcycle theft gang and recovered seven stolen motorcycles during an operation in Taxila, officials said on Thursday.

According to police, the arrests were made by a team led by Hassan Ali, in-charge of the Taxila Cantonment police post, following an investigation into a series of motorcycle theft cases reported in the area. The suspects are alleged to have stolen motorcycles from the Taxila Cattle Market, the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital and nearby localities.

Police said the seven motorcycles were recovered after the suspects disclosed their whereabouts during interrogation. The recovered vehicles are believed to have been stolen from different parts of the city.

The suspects have been remanded into police custody for further investigation. Officials said efforts are continuing to trace additional stolen motorcycles and determine the suspects' possible involvement in other theft cases, with the allegations to be tested through the judicial process.
