Police bust dacoit gang

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2026) Police have busted a three-member dacoit gang and recovered stolen property worth Rs367,000 during a crackdown against criminal elements.

According to a police spokesperson, the action was carried out by Rahmania Police Station on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat.

The arrested accused were identified as Ali Raza alias Donga, Babar Hussain alias Babri and Tariq Mehmood.

Police recovered two stolen motorcycles, a goat and household items from the suspects. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.

The DPO said that indiscriminate action against criminal elements would continue and protection of life and property of citizens would be ensured at all costs.
