LAYYAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Police have arrested a notorious gang allegedly involved in luring female students from a private commerce college and recording objectionable videos for exploitation.
According to police officials, the alleged ringleader, identified as Mudassar, revealed key details of the operation during interrogation following his arrest. Investigators said that videos and audio recordings recovered from his mobile phone indicate multiple instances of harassment and exploitation involving several victims.
A report submitted to the court highlighted alleged abuse and identified multiple victims, including the complainant, Iqra. It also indicated the involvement of other members, while the name of a college owner, Yusuf Farooq, has reportedly surfaced during the investigation.
Police stated that the accused allegedly targeted students by offering false promises of marriage, employment, and a luxurious lifestyle. Recovered footage reportedly shows some victims issuing apologies under duress.
The report further revealed that the suspects allegedly operated from multiple residences in Multan, Lahore, and Islamabad. It also alleged the use of drugs, including ice and other intoxicants, to facilitate exploitation.
Authorities have expanded the scope of the investigation and are conducting raids to apprehend other suspects who remain at large. Meanwhile, locals have expressed serious concern over the alleged network and have called for strict legal action against all those involved.
