Police bust robbery gang, recover looted valuables

WAH CANTT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) The police here arrested three suspected members of a robbery gang accused of carrying out an armed livestock theft, the police sources said on Thursday.

The police recovered stolen cattle, weapons, and a vehicle used in the crime, they added.

The suspects allegedly held a woman at gunpoint several days ago and stole her cattle before fleeing.

A case was promptly registered, and the police launched an operation using CCTV footage and intelligence-based tracking to identify and locate the suspects.

During the raid, the police team recovered two cows valued at around Rs 600,000 , along with weapons believed to have been used in the robbery.

A Mazda truck, allegedly used to transport the stolen livestock, was also seized, the sources added.

The police said efforts were ongoing to arrest other members of the group, adding that further investigation was expected to uncover more details about the gang’s activities.
