Police bust two-member gang, recover six motorcycles

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) Police have arrested a two-member gang involved in multiple motorcycle theft incidents and recovered six motorcycles from their possession during crackdown on Thursday.

According to police spokesperson, the suspects were taken into custody following a targeted operation by the Taxila police station.

The recovered motorcycles believed to be stolen from different areas.

Police have registered separate cases against both the culprits and started further investigation.

Superintendent of Police Potohar, Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan, commended police team for their swift action and professionalism and stated that the arrested individuals would be presented before the court with evidence. He added that those depriving citizens of their valuable assets would not be tolerated and strict action would be taken against the culprits.
